I wanted to make a luxurious dish using nuts and dried berries.

Ponzu sauce is so versatile. The mixture of the ponzu acidity with the dried berries results in a sauce just like one that uses Balsamic vinegar. Recipe by Shouta195 mama

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 gramsSteak meat
  2. 1Salt
  3. 2 cloveGarlic
  4. 15 gramsDried fruits (I used blueberries and cranberries)
  5. 5 tbspPonzu
  6. 4 tbspBoiling water

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Soak the dried berries in hot water. Season the beef with salt and let sit a little bit. While you wait, slice and cook the garlic.

  2. 2

Now, start cooking the beef. The garlic might start to burn in the middle of cooking, so you can transfer it to a plate. When the meat is done cooking, transfer to a plate and scatter the garlic on top.

  3. 3

Once the meat is done, add the dried berries to the leftover juices and add the ponzu sauce. Simmer a bit to make the sauce. Top the meat with the sauce.
