Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Here I bring to you a simple breakfast recipe which you can make. A healthy start to a day.

Heat the pressure cooker, add ghee to it. When ghee is hot add the cardamom.

After the cardamom splutters then add the bowl of broken wheat and saute it for 7 to 8 minutes on medium gas.

When you see the broken wheat changing to a light colour. Add the water and pressure cook it for 5 to 6 whistles.

After you are done pressure cooking. Remove the lid and then add the milk to the pressure cooked broken wheat.

When you see the milk boiling with the broken wheat. Switch off the gas. The porridge is cooked now

Serve the porridge warm with almonds, banana, raisins, honey.
