This is perfect for those times when you want to go to plop down at a cafe, but can't. It's so delicious that you'll just keep adding milk to the cubes and gulping it down.

If you use coffee that dissolves easily, you don't have to use boiling water and it's faster to make.
You can omit the sugar and then add syrup later.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 tbsp◆Instant coffee
  2. 1 1/2to 2 tablespoons ◆Sugar
  3. 200 ml◆Boiling water
  4. 150 mlMilk

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix and dissolve the ingredients marked ◆, pour into an ice cube tray, and let harden in the freezer. I always use the tray in the picture. I get two cups' worth.

  2. 2

When it has hardened, put the cubes into the glasses and pour in the milk. I recommend you add a lot to the glasses. Use a spoon to crush the ice as you drink for a slushy-like texture.
