Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. as per tasteSalt
  3. As neededWater for kneading dough
  4. 1 cupGreen peas (fresh/ frozen)
  5. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  6. 2-3medium size boiled and peeled potatoes
  7. 2-3green chillies
  8. 1/2 cupfresh coriander leaves
  9. 3-4garlic cloves
  10. 1 tspdry mango powder (optional)
  11. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  12. 1 tspoil or ghee
  13. as requiredExtra Ghee for applying on parathas

Cooking Instructions

    Knead dough for parathas using wheat flour,salt and water

  2. 2

    In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds and green peas and saute for a minute

  3. 3

    Switch off the stove and let the peas cool down.

  4. 4

    Grind together garlic, coriander and green chillies in to a paste

  5. 5

    Add the cooled peas to the paste and grind again

  6. 6

    Take this mixture on to a plate and add the boiled potatoes and mash them together.

  7. 7

    Add salt, dry mango powder, turmeric powder

  8. 8

    Now take a ball of the dough and roll in to a size of puri

  9. 9

    Place some stuffing on the puri and close the ends by bringing them together in the centre.

  10. 10

    Press the stuffed puri with your fingers and Roll it like a chapati very lightly but not too thin.

    Place on a medium hot tawa and cook from both the sides. Apply some ghee and serve hot.
