In a bowl, mix a generous splash of olive oil with all the spices. Coat the chicken drumsticks thoroughly with this mixture, then let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large wedges. Season with salt and pepper, and place them in the slow cooker. Arrange the chicken on top. Add a splash of white wine and sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken. Close the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
