This peanut chutney looks very tasty. This chutney was taught to me by my mom. This sauce is mainly a Maharashtrian dish. It is eaten for breakfast with Thepla, Dhebra, Rotli and especially Thalipeeth which is a popular Marathi dish.

Steps

10-15 minits
  1. 1

Roast the peanuts and remove the husks. Then take it into the mixture jar. Add chilli, salt, turmeric and hot spices and whisk. So turn the left side whisp in the mixture 1-2 times. Which does not crush the peanuts at all. We have to keep the peanuts crispy here.

Now take it in a bowl. And add water to it. And mix well. Now heat the oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seed, cumin seed, asafetida and curry leaves and pour in the chutney. And mix well,

  4. 4

If you want to eat the chutney immediately, the water measurement is fine, but if you have some time left to eat, add more water, as peanuts absorb water.
This sauce can be kept in the fridge for 3 days.
