A delicious Parwal Recipe cooked with Mustard and poppy seed paste.
Steps

Chop Parwal and ridge gourd into slices. Coat them with salt and turmeric powder. Pour oil into a pan. Put parwal for frying.

Take mustard seeds and poppy seeds in a Bowl. Add water. Transfer the mixture into a blender. Chop tomato and put it in a blender as well. Make paste.

Once Parwals start changing colour, add ridge gourd slices. Fry them golden. Add the paste. Add salt and sugar to taste. Cover with a lid and cook till the raw smell of masala goes away.

Once Parwals and ridge gourd softens, masala gets cooked, add water. Cook in high flame and wait till water absorbs the flavour.
