Ingredients

  1. For Paneer Tikka
  2. 200 gmPaneer
  3. 1Capsicum(cut in cubes)
  4. 1Onion(cut in cubes)
  5. 1Tomato(cut in cubes)
  6. 2 tspGinger+Garlic Paste
  7. 2 tbspThick Curd
  8. 1 tbspGram flour
  9. 1 tspTandoori Masala Powder
  10. 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  12. 1 tspKasuri Methi
  13. 1/2 tspChat Masala powder
  14. 1 tspLemon juice
  15. as per tasteSalt
  16. 2 tbspOil
  17. For Gravy
  18. 1Onion
  19. 4-5Garlic cloves
  20. 1Tomato
  21. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  22. 1Cinnamon stick
  23. 1Clove
  24. 8Cashews
  25. 6Almonds
  26. 1 tbspOil
  27. 1 tbspButter
  28. 1/2 tspChilli powder
  29. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  30. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  31. 2 tbspFresh Cream
  32. 1 tspKasuri methi
  33. 2 tbspfinely chopped Coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Beat curd in a bowl and add ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.

    Add kasuri methi, chat masala powder, gram flour and salt and mix well.

    Add lemon juice and mix well to prepare the marinade.

    Add paneer cubes, capsicum cubes, tomato cubes and onion cubes in prepared marinade and mix well.

    Cover it with a plate and let them marinate for an hour in refrigerator.

    Place marinated paneer cubes on wooden skewer and grease them with oil.

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan and place skewers over it and shallow fry on medium flame.

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium flame, add cinnamon, clove and cumin.

    Add chopped onions and garlic cloves.

    Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.

    Transfer in a blender jar with cashews and almonds.

    Blend into a smooth paste.

    Heat butter in a pan.

    Add blended paste and bring it to boil.

    Add garam masala, turmeric powder and chilli powder.

    When mixture starts boiling add crushed kasuri methi, stir and cook for a minute.

    Add cooked paneer tikkas, cook until gravy turns thick over low flame and add fresh cream and mix well.

    Turn off flame, transfer in a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
