Ingredients

  1. 1 cupToot Dal
  2. 2 tbspUrad Dal
  3. 1 inchGinger
  4. 4Green Chillies (adjust as per taste)
  5. Few Curry Leaves
  6. 4-5Garlic Cloves
  7. Handfulchopped Coriander Leaves
  8. 1 TspRed Chilli Powder
  9. 1 TspJeera Powder
  10. 1 TspJeera
  11. As per tasteSalt
  12. Pinchhing
  13. 1Onion Finely Chopped
  14. As neededOil to fry

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak the Toor Dal and Urad Dal for 2 hrs. Remove 11/2 tbsp dal and keep aside.

    After 2 hrs remove all water and take a grinder and both soaked dals, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and grind it coarsely.

    Remove in a bowl and add finely chopped onion, chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander, hing, the remaining dal, jeera, jeera powder, red chili powder, and salt and mix everything well.

    Take some mixture and give a cutlet shape and make a hole at the center with finger and deep fry on medium flame till nicely golden in color.. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
