Microwave-Steamed Ground Beef and Tofu

This is a great recipe when you need to make something after being out all day. I made this for my tofu-loving husband.
You don't need to drain the tofu. The moisture that comes out of the tofu will add a nice flavor.
Adjust the cooking time to your microwave. Be careful to cook the meat all the way through. Use a large dish so that it will be easier to cook all the way through. Recipe by Taunbi-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the ground pork and Japanese leek into small pieces. Grate the ginger. Combine in a bowl.
- 2
Add the ■ seasonings and mix.
- 3
Using a spoon, scoop the tofu into a heatproof dish. Arrange so that they do not overlap.
- 4
Pour Step 2 over the tofu. Rather than piling it up high, spread the ingredients out so that it heats evenly.
- 5
Wrap with plastic wrap and microwave for 7 minutes.
- 6
Use chopsticks to open a space in the middle and check to see if there's any red left to the meat. It's ready when the centers have cooked through.
- 7
Transfer to dishes, breaking up the meat portion with the chopsticks.
- 8
If the meat is still red, heat some more while keeping an eye on it.
- 9
If you like it spicy, add some doubanjiang or ra-yu.
