Dishwasher’s drainpipe was chewed by mice and leaking for a long time unnoticed. That’s why I have been cooking in the bathroom using a portable induction hob. The kitchen floor is not yet repaired and I miss my oven so much. If I’ve had an access to my oven, I wouldn’t have cooked this dish, however, I have found that this frying-pan method is easier and quicker than oven-roasting. Hiroko Liston -

How to Boil Broccoli How to Boil Broccoli
I love broccoli so I was trying out simple boiling methods. This method requires barely any water so it's more like steaming. With this method, you can really taste the difference in broccoli from varying regions and farms. Even my kindergarten-aged daughter could tell the difference.Steps 4-5: The amount of time to cook will vary depending on the size of the broccoli. If you want to use the broccoli in stew etc., then remove the lid right after stopping the heat. If you are making these for small children, then leave the lid on for 2 more minutes after turning off the heat. Recipe by Blue poppy cookpad.japan -

Stir-Fried Broccoli and Eggs Stir-Fried Broccoli and Eggs
The "Stir-Fried Eggs, Pork and Tree Ear Mushrooms" I ate at a Chinese restaurant was so delicious that I wanted to make a simple variation only using broccoli and eggs. The recipe uses a lot of oil when stir-frying because it's Chinese cuisine.I didn't use soy sauce or oyster sauce because I wanted a colorful dish.* How to make fluffy scrambled eggs: beat the eggs well, heat a generous amount of oil in a frying pan. Add the eggs and scramble quickly. Remove from the heat while the egg is still runny or still a lump.* Stir-frying with oil adds to the umami-rich taste of broccoli.* I also recommend adding thinly sliced pork offcuts and scallions!* This is also good with Weipa (Chinese soup base) and chicken stock.
