2-3 servings
  1. 1 poundsquid tentacles
  2. 3 tablespoonscrushed chili and garlic
  3. leavesHoly basil
  4. 1 teaspoondark soy sauce
  5. 1 1/2 tablespoonsoyster sauce
  6. 1 tablespoonfish sauce
  7. 2 teaspoonsseasoning sauce
  8. 1 teaspoonseasoning powder
  9. 1 tablespoonsugar
  10. 3 tablespoonsoil
  11. Water

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

Clean and cut the squid into pieces. Bring water to a boil and blanch the squid, then set aside. ** Do not cut the pieces too small as they will shrink. ** Blanching helps prevent the squid from releasing water when stir-frying and keeps it tender.

  2. 2

Heat a pan over high heat, add oil, and stir-fry the chili and garlic until fragrant.

  3. 3

Add the blanched squid and seasonings. Stir everything together and adjust the taste as desired. If it gets too dry, add water.

  4. 4

Add the holy basil leaves, mix well, turn off the heat, and serve on a plate.
