Ingredients

20 minutes
2 (4 pieces)
  1. For making batter :
  2. 1 bowlbesan
  3. 1 1/4 bowl of water
  4. 1/4 tspmustard oil
  5. 2 tbsp kasuri methi
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/8 tspasafoetida
  8. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1/4 tspcarrom seeds
  11. 1/4 tspmango powder
  12. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  13. 1/4 tsppakora masala(grounded cardamom,black pepper, cinnamon)
  14. Others :
  15. 200 gmPaneer
  16. 1/2 tsppakora masala (Cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon powder)
  17. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  18. As requiredCooking Oil for deep frying
  19. as needed Coriander chutney
  20. as requiredTomato ketchup

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the ingredients for making batter in a mixing bowl. Now add water slowly and stirring it to avoid formation of lumps, make a semi thick consistency batter.

    Cut 200 gm paneer log in 4 equal parts. Cut one piece from centre upto 80% so that it's other end is still joint. Fill pakora masala and red chilli powder all around the cut. Now seal it with upper half.

    Like wise fill all the paneer sticks with masala.

    Heat oil in a wok and dip paneer stick in besan batter and leave in wok carefully and deep fry till golden brown colour. 2 pakoras cab be fried at a time. Flip the side and fry from other side also. Likewise fry all pakoras.

    Serve hot with coriander chutney and tomato ketchup.
