This is one of my specialties. I love Mexican food and every time I get Mexican food I order fish tacos but nothing is better than making them yourself. They are so easy. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Steps

Prep: 35 min Cook: 25 mins
  1. 1

Mix shredded Cabbage, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice and salt into large bowl. Mix well, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  2. 2

Add your mayonnaise, Dragon hot sauce into a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  3. 3

Turn on your cooktop or stove to medium-high heat. Get out your largest non-stick skillet and fill up with oil enough to cover the fish. Now bring the temp up to 350 degrees and hold it steady. That is the temp you want to be frying at.

  4. 4

Now it's time to make the Beer batter. Take out a large bowl and pour in the flour, baking soda, garlic powder, chili powder, Salt, Cumin and Black pepper. Whisk together and mix well. Now whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth. The consistency of the batter should barley run off the spoon. Now set aside.

  5. 5

Now you want to cut up your fish into strips. Do this is batches, Place your fish into the batter and coat on both side and shake off. Now with tongs place the fish slowly into the hot oil and fry golden brown for approx. 2 minutes on each side. Now take out an drain on baking rack. Repeat until all fish is cooked.

  6. 6

Now it's time to prepare your corn tortillas. I like to warm them up on the stove until soft. Take a teaspoon scoop some of the Dragon Aioli and smear across the tortilla. Follow it buy a piece of fried fish, then top with cabbage slaw. Serve with lime wedges. And now it's done. I hope you can enjoy. Cheers from The Food Dude.
