Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer
Steps
- 1
Chop and thoroughly wash the spinach. Blend the spinach with the green chilies to make a paste. Chop the onions, ginger, and garlic, then blend them with the almonds and cumin seeds to make a fine paste.
- 2
Cut the paneer into cubes. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet and lightly fry the paneer cubes.
- 3
Add another 2 tablespoons oil to the skillet. Once hot, add the cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon. Add the onion-garlic-almond paste, then stir in the coriander-cumin powder, turmeric, salt, and sugar. Mix well, cover, and cook on low heat.
- 4
Uncover and stir occasionally. After 5-7 minutes, add the spinach paste and cook for about 15 minutes, until the spices and spinach are fully cooked. Once done, add the fried paneer cubes.
- 5
Cook for another 2-3 minutes after adding the paneer. Remove from heat, stir in the butter, and serve.
