Cranberry Scones

Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a large bowl stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture; set aside.

In a medium bowl stir together the eggs, the milk, and the cranberries. Add egg mixture to flour mixture all at once. Using a fork, stir just until moistened.

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead dough by folding and gently pressing it for 10 to 12 Strokes or until dough is nearly smooth. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces.

Place the 12 pieces of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden. Remove scones from baking sheets; serve warm.
