Ingredients

4 persons
  1. 350 gmchicken (cut into normal pieces)
  2. 6tomatoes (preferably red and soft)
  3. 1.5onion (medium sized- chopped)
  4. 1.5 tbsginger garlic paste
  5. 1.5 tspcrushed chili flakes
  6. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  7. 1/3 tspblack pepper
  8. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tbskarahi masala
  10. 1 tbskasuri methi
  11. 2 tbsyogurt
  12. 1 tspsalt or to taste
  13. 1/2 cupoil
  14. 5-6whole chilies
  15. For garnishing
  16. Coriander chopped
  17. Ginger julienne cut
  18. 2chilies cut into 4-5 pieces

Cooking Instructions

    Heat up the wok and and pour oil. Mean while cut onions. Add onions into hot oil and start stirring.

    Another side, chop tomatoes. Once the onion turns i to light pink, add chicken pieces first and fry.

    Then add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Mix it well.

    Cover it and cook for 10 mins. Add spices: chili flakes, black pepper, cumin powder, garam Masala and salt and mix it.

    Pour 2 tbs whipped yogurt.

    Add karahi masala and whole green chilies. Mix it and cover it again for 10-15 mins on low flames.

    Uncover it and put kasuri methi. Always rub it into your hand and put it for more flavor. Squeeze lemon and cover it again for 5 min s on low flame.

    Garnish it with chopped coriander, julienne ginger and green chilies. Serve with garma garam chapati. Enjoy 😉
