Steps

First take gram flour in a bowl. Add all spices as mentioned. Now add little water & make a semi soft dough of it. Grease your hands if needed.

Now make balls cylindrical shape log from it. Cut these logs into roundles. Press these roundles with the thumb for stuffing.

Now boil water in a pan & put all roundles in boiling water for 6- 7 min. Take it put from boiling water.
For stuffing : Take grated panner in a bowl. Add cashews, green chilli, salt, black pepper powder & green coriander to it. - 4
Now put stuffing in center of the gatte & press gently.
For curry : soak cashews & poppy seeds in 2 tbsp milk for 10 min. Now take chopped tomatoes, soaked cashews, poppy seeds, curd, ginger piece & green chilli in a grinder & make a smooth paste. - 5
Now heat ghee in a pan, add asafoetida & cumin seeds to it. Now add this paste & all spices as mentioned. Cook this gravy for 5 min till it releases oil. Now add stuffed gatte to it. Cook it for 5 min. Our shahi gatta curry is read. Serve it with roti or any type of paratha.
