Wash the vegetables thoroughly. Cut the tomatoes in half, then slice each half. The tomatoes should be red and juicy. Peel the cucumber in stripes, leaving some skin on, and slice it. Slice the onion and bell pepper thinly.

Place the tomato slices with their juices in a large, deep plate or salad bowl. Layer the cucumber, onion, and bell pepper slices on top. Add the olives.

Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano. Do not toss the salad before serving. Place the block of feta cheese on top, drizzle with a little more olive oil and oregano, and serve.
