Lemon rice from leftover rice

In the bowl of rice, put salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and keep aside till you prepare for the tadka.

In a kadhai heat little oil. Fry the peanuts and keep aside.
Next add rest of the oil. Heat it.
Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add urad dal and chana dal. - 3
Next add curry leaves, grated ginger and green chillies. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and hing.
Give a nice mix. - 4
Add the rice now. Give a nice mix. Switch the flame off. Add the juice of lemons.
Give a nice gentle mix. - 5
Add the fried peanuts. Mix again.
Tasty lemon rice is ready!! - 6
Serve with your favourite sabzi/ chutney/ raita..
