Steps

Take Katla fish and marinade with salt + turmeric and marinade for 10 minutes.

Fry under low to medium flame up to 50 % - 60 % and allow to cool.
Break a egg, whisk well and keep aside. - 3
Gently remove bones and skin. Assemble ingredients for marination.

Marinade the fish pieces with salt + ginger garlic + corn flour + maida + 3-4 tbsp egg mix and mix very well.
Keep in rest for around 5 minutes. - 5
Heat oil in pan / wok, add oil and start dropping the marinade fish pieces and fry till golden brown from all sides.

Keep aside the fried fish.

Assemble ingredients for gravy.

In a heated wok / pan, add oil, add ginger + garlic and sauté for few seconds under high flame. Add diced capsicum + diced onion + green chilli and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

Then add all the mentioned sauces + 4 tbsp water, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes under low to medium flame.Add salt + sugar at this stage.
Add corn flour in little water and mix nicely. - 10
Add the corn flour mix + fried fish and mix gently, make sure the fish pieces is coated well with the prepared sauce, further cook for around 2 minutes.

Chilli Fish is ready to serve.
