Soak chole overnight. Add to the pressure cooker and give 5,6 whistles. Keep aside. Soak cashews in water.

Take out 2 tbspoon cooked chole. Now in the mixer jar add chole, soaked cashew. Add little water and blend. Take out the paste in bowl

In same mixer jar add fresh malai and blend. In a pan add oil and roast chopped tomatoes. Allow it cool down. Blend to fine paste.

Now in pan add oil, once hot add cinnamon, bay leaves, black pepper corns,star anise. Saute well. Now add tomato paste. Saute well

Now add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, red chilli powder. Mix well add chole masala. Saute well till it leaves oil. Now add cooked chhole

Mix well.add water. Now add cashew and chole paste, amchur powder.mix well. Add required boiled water. Cook well now add salt. Cook for 5 minutes. Lastly add fresh malai and switch off the flame. Serve hot.
