  • As Required oil for frying
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspcoriander (finely chopped) pinch hing / asafoetida
  • 2 tbspcurry leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 inchginger
  • 2chilli
  • 1/4 cupmoong
  • 1/4 cuptoor dal
  • 1/4 cupurad dal
  • 3/4 cupchana dal

    Blend the soaked dal, 2 chilies, and 1-inch ginger to a coarse paste without adding water.

    Add reserved dal, 2 tbsp curry leaves, 2 tbsp coriander, pinch thing, and 1 tsp salt. squeeze and combine them well.

  3. 3

    Furthermore, grease your hand with oil and prepare small balls, flattening the vada.

    and deep fry in hot oil. or preheat and bake at 180 degrees Celcius for 25 minutes or until it turns golden and crisp.

    Also, stir occasionally until the dal vada turns golden and crisp.

    finally, serve mixed of dal vada hot along with masala chai.
