Peel the outer skin of the stem and cut it into 1/2 inch thick slices, then cut into small pieces and put in water

Keep a pan, add oil, add cumin seed, and fennel seed, and fry until getting a good aroma

Add onion, and curry leaves, and stir for 2 mins, now add soaked moong dhal, green chili, and banana stem, and stir well, add 1cup of water, turmeric powder, and garlic, cover, and simmer in low flame until moong dhal and stem become soft (if need add 1/4 cup water)

Now add ground coconut, cook for 3min, and add ghee

Enjoy the nutritious curry with rice, roti, etc.
