Wash mushroom very nicely, soak in warm salted water for few minutes and cut into desired size. Keep aside.

Assemble all ingredients

In a moderately heated pan add oil, then add butter and allow to melt, then add chopped onion and sauté till soft and pinkish

Then add chopped garlic and sauté and till onion + garlic is light golden brown, add turmeric at this stage.

Then add chopped mushroom and cook under a low flame, gradually mushroom starts releasing water.

Cover and cook mushroom for 7-8 minutes under low to medium flame.

Now add salt + chili flakes and fry till the water dries up and the mushroom turns soft.

Make a slurry of water + corn flour. Add this to it and stir well, cook till bubbles arrive and lastly add chopped coriander and mix well.
Cook for 1-2 minutes for a creamy texture. - 9
Now dish is ready to serve.

Serve hot with garlic bread or can be used as a sandwich filling.
