Clean, wash and Chop bathua leaves. Transfer it in a pressure cooker. Add chopped garlic pods and pressure cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically. Let it cool.

Transfer it in a mixer and grind to a fine paste. Remove it in a bowl.

Add curd in a mixing bowl and whisk it thorougly amd make it smooth.

Add 3 tb spoon bathua padte in curd. Add salt, black salt and pepper.

Mix and whisk it again.

Now heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add asafoetida and red chilli powder and saute for 30 seconds. Switch off the flame. Transfer this tempering in bathua raita and mix.

Serve chilled with paratha.
