Ingredients

10 minutes
4-6persons
  1. 400 gramsfresh dates
  2. 1/2 cupalmond
  3. 1/2 cupcashewnuts
  4. 1/4 cuppistachio
  5. 1/4 cuppumpkin seeds
  6. 1/4 cupsesame seeds
  7. 1/2 cuppoppy seeds
  8. 1 cuplotus seeds
  9. 4-6dried figs
  10. 1 tspcardemom powder
  11. 1/4 cupghee

Cooking Instructions

    Deseed dates and grind in a grinding jar with figs. Keep aside.

    Heat 2 tbsp ghee and fry lotus seeds on medium flame.When cool grind coarsely. Keep aside.

    Heat pan, and dry roast sesame seeds, and poppy seeds separately. Do not mix and keep aside.

    Now heat the 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Slightly roast almonds,cashewnuts, pumpkin seeds, and walnuts. Grind coarsely and keep aside.

    In a large pan heat the remaining ghee, add ground dates, and cook on low heat till thick and leaves the surface of the pan. Add dry fruits, lots of seeds, and crushed sesame seeds. Mix well.

    Transfer the mixture to a board/thali. Let it cool to room temperature.

    Mix and roll. You may make 2 small rolls as well. Coat the roll/rolls with sesame seeds. Wrap the rolls in parchment paper or in aluminum foil. Keep in the fridge for 1 hour.

    Cut into discs. Date- dry fruit rolls are ready to be served. Enjoy.
