I used the regular hamburger steak meat mix in Chinese-flavored dish. This has now become one of my go-to recipes .

Once the sauce (the ★ ingredients) has thickened, add the meatballs immediately to coat them with it. There isn't much water, so you need to keep an eye on the heat. It might be a good idea for those of you who are not used to this recipe to add more water.
You can freeze the meatballs after Step 3. Make a large batch and use them in various recipes. For 2 people. Recipe by kenken mama

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 gramsGround beef and pork mix
  2. 1/2 stalkJapanese leek
  3. 3 tbspPanko
  4. 1 tbspMilk
  5. 2 tbspKatakuriko
  6. 1 dashSalt and pepper
  7. (Seasoning Mix)
  8. 1 1/2 tbsp★Soy sauce
  9. 1 1/2 tbsp★Ketchup
  10. 1 1/2 tbsp★Sugar
  11. 1 1/2 tbsp★Vinegar
  12. 1 tbsp★Water (for the soup)
  13. 1/2 tsp○Katakuriko
  14. 2 tsp○Water
  15. 1(Decorative) White sesame

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the Japanese leeks, and soak the panko in milk. Add salt and pepper to the ground meat, and knead until it all sticks together, add the above-mentioned Japanese leeks, bread crumbs, and katakuriko and mix together.

    Roll into balls after mixing, and fry them in 360F/180C oil in a pan. Mix the ★ seasoning.

    Take the meatballs out after they are fried, wipe the grease, add ★ to the same pan, and turn on the heat. Mix the ○ ingredients, adding ○ a bit at a time after bringing to a boil to thicken . After it has thickened, return the meatballs to the pan, coat with the mixture, and you are done.

    I sprinkled white sesame on top for decoration. I arranged it with boiled broccoli this time.
