Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pierce the chicken breasts on both sides with a fork to tenderize it and make it easier for the flavors to penetrate it.
- 2
Combine the ingredients marked ★ (soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil) and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hours. (Turn the chicken over occasionally.)
- 3
Heat the frying oil, dip the chicken in the egg and then coat with katakuriko.
- 4
Deep fry the chicken with the skin side up first over relatively low heat. When it's just about cooked through turn it over and continue frying.
- 5
While you fry the chicken, put the marinade in a pan, add some sliced leek and boil down.
- 6
Slice the fried chicken into 1.5 to 2 cm wide pieces and put in a serving plate.
- 7
Pour the leek sauce over the chicken to finish.

Chicken Breast with Onion Ketchup Sauce Chicken Breast with Onion Ketchup Sauce
I tend to buy chicken breasts as they are often on sale.I wanted to increase my recipe repertoire, so I looked up the recipe called 'Burger with Cheese in Mild Onion Sauce'. I modified this recipe to prepare with chicken instead and it turned out successful. The original sauce is slightly edited with an original twist.I used 480 g of chicken breast. The onion was quite large so I used half. If it is a small onion, use a whole one.The sauce is quite strong, but if you balance out the flavor by serving it on top of lettuce, you'll be able to have lots! Recipe by Chobikoro cookpad.japan -
