Due to scarcity in vegetables in Summers , we Gujaratis tend to add potatoes in each & every vegetable. The mentality behind this is the quantity also becomes more & children eat up the vegetable with potatoes without any fuss .
Some of our popular vegetables combined with potatoes are cabbage-potato , bottle gourd-potato , ivy - gourd- potato, bitter - gourd potato & so on & so forth .....the list is endless.One such variation is aloo- matar vegetable which is all time favourite. So let us see the recipe 👇

Keep all the ingredients ready.

In a pressure cooker container take green peas, chopped potatoes & chopped tomatoes add 1/2 cup water & all the spices.

Do the tempering & add it in the vegetable. Mix well.Close the pressure cooker & take 3 whistles.

When pressure is released from the pressure cooker,open it & cook it for 5 minutes on open flame for all the spices to merge well. Garnish with chopped coriander & serve hot with roti or paratha.
