Pressure cook the over night soaked toor upto 4 whistles.

In a pan heat oil, cumin seeds, asofedita, carom seeds, add onion and saute till pink. Add ginger paste.

Add toor, with its water, add all the spices, and cook for 5 to 10 minutes

Sabji is ready to serve with poori or steamed rice
