Ingredients

8-10 minutes
3 servings
  • 2 cupFlattened Rice
  • 1medium Onion
  • 1small Carrot
  • 1small Capsicum
  • 3green chilli
  • 8-10Curry leaves
  • 3 tbsproasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 2 pinchTurmeric Powder
  • 3 tbspOil
  • Salt as required
  • 1/2Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tspSugar
  • 1/2” Ginger

    Assemble ingredients

    In moderately heated pan add oil, add mustard seeds + curry leaves and allow to sizzle, then add onion and sauté for few seconds. Add chopped veggies + ginger paste + turmeric and stir fry for 4-5 minutes till veggies turn soft.

    Veggies is soft yet crunchy.

    Then add washed and drained flattened rice and mix very gently, add sugar + salt. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.

    Add lemon juice, mix well and switch off flame, lastly add peanuts, keep in stand by mode for 1-2 minutes and POHA is ready to serve.

    Garnish with few Peanuts and Serve hot hot.
