In a mixing bowl take half of barley flour / jau ata. Add salt to taste and mix it. Slowly add Lukewarm water and knead semi soft dough.
(**We have to take flour in 2 batches as it becomes dry.) - 2
Make equal parts of the dough.

Now take 1 ball and knead it well. Sprinkle dry flour on the wooden base or parat. Then take a ball and press it with your hand and pat the bread. Meanwhile, heat a pan or tawa on low flame.

Then put the flat bread on tawa or pan. Immediately apply some water on it so that it does not break. When the bottom side is cooked, flip it over and roast for 2 minutes. And then roast it on gas burner on medium flame.

Barley flour / jau ata flat bread is ready to serve. While serving apply some cow ghee as it will enhance its taste.
