In a pan over high heat, sauté apples and butter until apples begin to soften, stir in the sugar, salt and spices. Cook stirring until caramelized but still a bit crunchy

Allow to cool before serving with labneh or Greek yoghurt
- 3
OR proceed to STEP 2 (OPTIONAL): Reduce heat to medium and add 2 tablespoon of water or more. Allow apples to simmer until wilted. Add more water as they cook to achieve the level of wilted apples needed. These can be served hot on toast and oatmeal or cold on labneh and Greek yogurt bowls
