Steps

Preheat the oven to 220°C.

Combine the Flour, Baking Powder and Salt in a large bowl.

Rub the cold hard Margarine into the flour mixture.

Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
NB do not overwork the mixture - 5
In a separate bowl, whisk the Egg and Water.

Gently press the dough flat. Using a glass or cookie cutter press circles into the dough.

Place the scones on a prepared baking sheet. With a kitchen brush, brush the Egg Wash over the scones. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
