Crispy Curry-Flavored Chicken Wings

My friend tells me all the time about the Buffalo chicken wings she had when she was studying in the U.S. I wanted to come up with a chicken wing recipe that was as delicious as the ones she kept on raving about!
The wings will turn out better if you shake off any excess flour from them before baking.
The cooking time may vary depending on your oven, so please adjust accordingly. For 8 sticks. Recipe by santababy

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the chicken wings and put small cuts in the surface on the back side.
- 2
Put the sake, soy sauce, curry powder and chicken wings in a plastic bag and flatten the bag to eliminate as much air as possible.
- 3
Put the flour and katakuriko in another bag, take out the chicken wings from the other bag in Step 2 while draining off any excess moisture, and shake the bag around to coat the wings with the flour.
- 4
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Put the coated chicken wings in skin side up and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until they are golden brown; turn them over and bake for another 5 minutes to finish.

Spicy Curry Fried Chicken Wings Spicy Curry Fried Chicken Wings
I wanted to make a fried dish that goes well with beer. I put in a bunch of different seasonings, and I ended up with a great recipe for fried chicken. It's a good idea to get a lot of chicken wings when they go on sale, season them, and store them in the freezer. When you want to eat them, simply thaw them, coat them in katakuriko, and fry them. This is great when you don't have a lot of time. The listed weight of the chicken is the combined weight of the wings. If you're using thighs instead of wings, the listed weight is the rough equivalent of one thigh. Dry Curry Wings Dry Curry Wings
Sometimes simple is better.I wanted to try something different, something not wet on my wings. I also love English Curry (yellow curry powder), so what can I do to combine things to come up with a dry spice based off English Curry. This had a perfect balance I think. A light curry flavor (on the wings), not spicy, really good. If your wings have more oil on the outside, more powder will stick and give you a heavier flavor. But since it seems pretty balanced, not really a bad deal either.Deep fry, bake, grill or air fry those wings and give this shake on seasoning a try.You won't need a dozen napkins either.Note, - I only used about 1/4 of the powder for this amount of wings, so it makes plenty. I wanted to make a baked dish that would go well with beer. After rubbing the marinade into the chicken, you can freeze it just like that. Let it defrost naturally and then continue on with the recipe. When scraping off the paste, lightly scrape it off the more fleshy areas. Hold a pair of tongs in your right hand and use your left hand to scrape off the paste into a plastic bag so that your hands don't get dirty. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki cookpad.japan -
