Ham Steak with Orange Butter

Thick ham steaks were cheap, and when I saw them I got the urge to eat them! They were 40% off, plus I had orange juice in my fridge....
Add sliced orange at Step 2 if you like. If you don't have maple syrup, you can use honey. For 2 slices. Recipe by Tsuiterusatochan

By the way, this cost me 800 yen for 400g . It goes great with a simple mustard sauce and vegetables, so you can arrange it with your vegetables without dressing~. For 2 people. This is a very common way to cook steak. Seasoned only with salt and pepper then finished by basting with garlic and thyme butter for a perfect flavor that doesn’t drown out the taste of the steak. Flat iron steak with caper and tarragon brown butter Flat iron steak with caper and tarragon brown butter
My local supermarket gifted me with a special treat this afternoon: flat iron steak. It's one of the very few times I've seen them offer this particular cut, so of course I didn't hesitate to scoop up a package to make for dinner. If you've never had flat iron steak before, do yourself a favour and find a restaurant that offers it. It's super-tender, super-flavourful...just absolutely fantastic. Because it's so great already, I chose a pretty simple preparation. Just a quick sear in a hot pan, followed by a jazzed-up brown butter sauce made in the same pan. Some premade, locally made pasta (lemon and ricotta filled mezzaluna from Duso's) completed the dish. Delicious. Robert Gonzal -

Hearty Pork Steak Hearty Pork Steak
My hubby saw "Yokka-city Tonteki" (pork steak from Mie prefecture) on TV and said he wanted to try it, so I made my own version.I think thick cut pork is juicier and tastier, so I used a bock sliced about 3 cm thick. There's a lot of sauce and it's pretty rich, so use it for the cabbage and rice too. Chicken Steak with Avocado Sauce Chicken Steak with Avocado Sauce
I just came up with this recipe.I love avocado, so I put it on chicken steak.Coat the chicken with katakuriko to contain the umami flavour of the chicken.I cut the chicken after cooking, but you can cut it before you cook if you like.A generous amount of the sauce makes the dish more delicious, so the amount of the sauce is relatively large. Beef Steak with Onion Sauce Beef Steak with Onion Sauce
This is an abbreviated version of Chaliapin steak (a steak marinated in onions, a Japanese western-style dish). The sautéed onions form the base of the sauce, so sauté them slowly and patiently, taking care not to let them burn.As long as the onions are well sautéed, you can make a delicious sauce with just water, without needing any wine or sake.
