Most important step is the beginning step. Using paper towels pat the chicken as dry as possible.

Evenly cover each piece of chicken with liquid smoke.

Pat dry again afterwards to remove as much moisture as possible before seasoning.

Sprinkle salts and peppers evenly over each piece. Sprinkle just enough to cover each piece.

Fill your air fryer with the chicken but do not stack them.

Cook on 375 for 32 minutes. Half way through cooking shake the chicken and then resume cooking.

Here’s what you get 32 minutes later. Let it rest outside of the air fryer for about 5 minutes before enjoying.
