Ingredients

45 minutes
4-5 servings
  • For Moong-Vegetable Paste:
  • 3/4 cup -1 cup soaked moong
  • 1/2 cuponion
  • 1/3 cupcarrot
  • 3green chillies
  • 7-8garlic cloves
  • 1/2" ginger
  • 1 tspvariyali
  • For Dough:
  • 1/2 tspajwain
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspchat masala
  • 1/2 tsphaldi
  • 1/4 tsphing
  • 1/2lemon
  • 1/2 tspoil
  • 2 cupswheat flour (approx)
  • 3 tbspchopped onions
  • 3 tbspcoriander
  • Other Ingredients:
  • 1/8 cupoil for roasting
  • 1/2 cupwheat flour

Steps

    For Paste:
    Soak moong for 8-10 hours
    Ready all ingredients for the paste. Take these ingredients in mixer jar.
    Crush to a smooth paste.

    Take the paste in a plate. Add in dough ingredients and mix well.
    Now add in 1 1/2 -2 cups of wheat flour. Mix and knead a medium consistency dough.

    Smoothen the dough with 1/2 tsp oil.
    Cover and rest the dough for 10 minutes.

    Make portions of the dough. (Makes about 8-9 parathas).
    Roll out using dry wheat flour.

    Roast well by pressing on medium gas flame, using oil.

    Roast well as moong used are raw.
    Serve hot with any sabzi Or curd or tea.
    I have served with doodhi, potato, peas sabzi.
