Slice the scallops in half. Remove the heads and shells from the shrimp, then use a toothpick to remove the veins.

Cut the yellow chives into 1 1/2-inch (4 cm) pieces.

Heat a small amount of oil in a pan. Add the scallops, shrimp, and yellow chives all at once, and stir-fry over high heat.

Be careful not to overcook. Once the scallops and shrimp change color and the yellow chives start to soften, turn off the heat and season with salt and pepper.
