Ingredients

  1. 1egg beaten
  2. 1 cupraisins
  3. 6 cupsbread flour sifted
  4. 2 packsyeast
  5. 2 cupswarm milk
  6. 2 teaspoonsalt
  7. 6 teaspoonsugar
  8. 4 tablespoonsshortning melted
  9. Melted butter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Dissolve yeast in little warm milk

  2. 2

    Add rest of ingredients except raisins and shortning

  3. 3

    When slightly mixed add shortening

  4. 4

    Let rise 2 hours knead in raisins let rise 45 min

  5. 5

    Knead down let raise 15 min

  6. 6

    Put in greased bread pans let raise 2 hours

  7. 7

    Bake at 400 for 20 min reduce heat to 350 bake 40 min longer.
