French Bistro White Bean Stew

The garlic-infused tomato sauce perfectly complements the white beans that have absorbed the savory flavor of bacon! Using canned beans saves time! This is an easy and delicious stew.
The story behind this recipe
Canned white beans were just $1.20 at Kaldi! Great value! My French husband made this stew for us. You can also find a video on our YouTube channel, 'Our Home is a French Bistro', so feel free to cook along with us!

White bean stew! White bean stew!
First day of spring, but here in Connecticut, today doesn’t really feel like it…I’m bringing you a traditional Spanish stew, perfect for cold winter days. I’ve known this dish since I was little—it was always in my home! 🥰It’s very easy to make and packed with flavor!Plus, white beans are rich in fiber (over 21gr per 100gr), which helps regulate digestion. They’re also a great source of B vitamins, especially folic acid, and minerals like potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and zinc. Chus Molinero -
California Farm Red Beans and Pork Stew in Herbes de Provence California Farm Red Beans and Pork Stew in Herbes de Provence
The way we cook dry red beans only takes an hour, and they don’t get mushy. They are great when you want to make a big batch of bean pork stew to freeze for future dinners with the special flavors of Herbs de Provence spice. Easy to make at home, it gives a magical flavor to otherwise bland dinners.#GlobalApron Hobby Horseman -

Homemade White Stew Homemade White Stew
I made a healthy and light stew which goes well with rice, using the ingredients I had on hand.Thinly slice or mince the ingredients so that they cook through faster. If you have ingredients that contains nice flavours such as chicken, the dish will be still tasty without Weipa, but I like adding it. Taste it at the end, and add it if you like. When you are planning to serve this dish over rice, I strongly recommend using the rice flour. Recipe by Youchin cookpad.japan -

Beef stew Beef stew
I must admit this recipe is really for a beef pie, but the insides where so good, why not just have the insides!! I think it qualifies for stew!! You can cook the first part in a skillet but you do need a Dutch oven to complete it. It is rather fiddly to make but I guarantee you'll be happy with the results. Props to my hubby as well for the photography as usual!! kokomayla
