Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  1. About 1 cup cooked Echigo rice grain type (200g)
  2. 1/4 cupfinely chopped onion (40g)
  3. 2 tablespoonsfinely chopped bell pepper (20g)
  4. 1egg
  5. 3/4 ozpork belly (20g)
  6. 2 teaspoonsbutter (10g)
  7. 1/4 teaspoonsalt (1g)
  8. Black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Cook the KitoKito Shinryo Echigo rice grain type.

    Finely chop the vegetables and pork. Parboil the onion for 3 minutes and soak the bell pepper in water for 7 minutes.

    Beat the egg and scramble it in 1 teaspoon of butter.

    Sauté the mixture from step 2 in the remaining butter, then add the rice and scrambled egg. Season with salt and pepper.
