  • 2 cupsthickly Grated Carrots
  • 1 tbspGhee
  • 2 tbspMilk
  • 1 tbspchopped Badam(Almonds)
  • 4 tbspSugar
  • 1/2 tspElaichi (Cardamom)powder

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the ghee in a kadai add the grated carrots and stir on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add the milk and sugar and stir well continuously for 10 minutes, then add crushed almonds and cardamom and allow to cook under low flame for 5 more minutes.

  3. 3

    The carrot halwa is ready. Serve it hot.
