Ingredients

30-35 minutes
4 -5 servings
  1. 4 cupsCarrots grated (thick)
  2. 1cinnamon stick
  3. 1-2Cardamom
  4. 1 cupmilk
  5. 1 tbspPista chopped
  6. 1 tbspCashew nuts chopped
  7. 3/4 th cup Sugar (sugar to taste)
  8. 3 tbspDesi Ghee
  9. 1/2 tspCardamom powder (optional)
  10. 1 tbspAlmonds chopped
  11. 2 cup grated - Khoya

Cooking Instructions

30-35 minutes

    Take wide saucepan,add 2 tbsp ghee, cardamom, cinnamon stick and grated carrots to a pan.

    Heat the pan and cook on medium hot till carrots start sweating.

    Now add sugar and cook till all the moisture is evaporated. Add desi ghee and mix well..

    Pour milk, sprinkle cardamom powder Mix and now add khoya and turn off the heat.

    Stir so that khoya mixes nicely with the Carrots.. finally add nut and almonds..

    Gajar ka halwa (Carrot Halwa) is Ready to be served.. 😋
