Delicious Siomay Dim Sum

The wonton wrappers I made yesterday turned out to be perfect for siomay. When steamed, the wrappers become chewy and pair wonderfully with the chicken and shrimp filling, especially when dipped in bottled chili sauce. Yummy!

For the filling: Mix all ingredients except for a little grated carrot, which will be used as a topping for the siomay later. Stir until well combined.

Take a wonton wrapper, add the filling, and shape it by pleating the edges. Sprinkle a little grated carrot on top. Place on a greased tray, sprinkle the siomay wrappers with water, and steam for 20 minutes. The steamer should be boiling.

Serve warm for the best taste.
