Cooking Instructions

In pressure cooker: Cook toor dal with 0.25 tsp turmeric powder. (Optional: Add spinach). Mash with ladle after pressure settles down

Varan recipe:
Take boiled dal in a pan. Add salt, 0.25tsp Hing, 0.5 glass water and boil.
While serving add ghee and lemon juice - 3
Dal Tadka - Simple:
Take pan/kadhai. Add Ghee, 1 tsp Jeera, 1tsp mustard, 1 dry Red chilli, 1Green chilli.
Add 3-5 cloves garlic chopped OR 0.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste (generous qty).
Add Hing.
Put Dal and Water as needed.
Salt.
