Chicken & Shrimp Miki Bihon Guisado

Start by preparing your ingredients but washing and cutting all the veggies and chicken. Season your chicken with salt and pepper and set aside. Wash and peel your shrimp. Set aside.

Heat up your wok and add oil. Then add the onions then garlic. Sauté until translucent. Add your chicken and sauté until fully cooked. Add one package of anatto powder.

Add your carrots and green beans and cook for about 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and chicken powder. Add bell peppers and snow peas. Then lastly add your cabbage.

Remove the chicken and veggie mixture and set aside. Using same pan, cook your shrimp for about a minute. Remove then set aside.

Using same pan add oil. Saute some garlic and add the other packet of the anatto powder. Slowly add the water or chicken stock then add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Season with pepper. Add the sugar then add the vinegar and leave it alone and let it boil.

After it boils, add the bihon noodles and wait for it to become soft. Once it's soft, break it apart. Then add the canton noodles. Mix it together thoroughly.

Add back the chicken and veggie mixture and mix it together then lastly add the shrimp back and mix. Leave some aside for garnish. Transfer to serving plate. Garnish with green onions (optional) and serve with side of lemon. Share and Enjoy.
