  1. Sauce Ingredients
  2. 2/3 cupWorcestershire sauce (150 ml)
  3. 1 tablespoontonkatsu sauce
  4. 1 tablespoonsugar
  5. 1 teaspoonketchup
  6. 1/2 cupwater (100 ml)
  7. 1 teaspoonoyster sauce
  8. 4times the amount of batter (see Batter ID 21647502)
  9. as neededFine breadcrumbs,

  11. Pork loin
  12. Asparagus
  13. Onion
  14. Shrimp
  15. Lotus root
  16. Green onion
  17. Mozzarella cheese
  18. Garlic
  19. Sasa kamaboko (fish cake)

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Heat gently and remove from heat just before it starts to boil.

    Thread your choice of ingredients onto skewers. Dip each skewer into the batter (see Batter ID 21647502), then coat with fine breadcrumbs and fry.

    Fry at 340°F (170°C) until golden brown and the ingredients are cooked through.

    Enjoy with sauce, lemon, or kushikatsu dipping sauce, depending on your preference.
