Coconut Besan Burfi

Roast the chana dal till golden brown colour and make a besan powder in the grinder.

Take the grated coconut in a grinder jar and make a powder.

Heat the Ghee on medium flame.Add the roasted besan and cook for a1 minute. Add the coconut powder and milk powder.Mixwell and cook 1 minute another time.

Heat the kadhai on medium flame.Add the sugar and 1 cup water. Make 1 thread chasni and switch off the flame. Add the coconut besan mixture and stir continuously till smooth paste.

Take a pre-greased flat tray. Spread the above mixture in 2 cm. thick layer. Sprinkle some dryfruit pieces and elaichi powder.
